Looking around on items we all ready have and how to make them work can help you save money and improve any space. We took a mason jar and gave a few coats with some paint we bought from Lowes. While watching a show, I started giving a few coats and letting it dry in between each coat. This project is easy and very inexpensive.
Since I all ready had a mason jar and a small sponge brush we only needed the color paint of our choise, so technically this project was just $0.50 for the paint.
This project is a way to add a pop of color to our kids bathroom on a budget remodel. We chose to use the color Gray, Yellow and a touch of Purple to make it a little more grown up. It is a challenge to bring those colors together and make any space work but I liked how we have been able to do so while staying on a budget.
Using items you all ready have and adding the colors needed can help improve any space and even though this seems like a simple project but you can see how big the impact can be.
I want to share another simple project we did using the same paint we got for $0.50, which is another addition to this space.
We made a simple wood frame painting the piece in yellow for our kids bathroom makeover.
